Settled in St Philibert, L'Ancre du Dahl farms oyster-beds in deep water in Quiberon Bay and clams fields in the Golfe of Morbihan.

These are natural products, which require no chemical subtances. These shellfish belong to a coastal environment and should be grown with the greatest care.

Flat oysters which are called belons (scientific name : Ostrea Edulis) and common oysters (scientific name : Crassostrea gigas) cohabit in Quiberon Bay since 1970-1980. Indeed, two illnesses (Martellia and Bonamia) have decimated flat oysters. A Few concerned oysters farmers, not to let a produce of such quality disappear, have believed in their rebirth.
Hence forth, they use mussel shells to favour flat oysters catching.

Common oysters, have the particularity and the great advantage to be almost the only one in Europe to be in deep water which is very clean and very rich in food and this makes them more tasty. The young oysters are catching in the Arcachon basin and in the Marennes Oleron basin. The young common oysters as for the young flat oysters are sowed lying on the ground in deep water where they stay at least two or three years.

Another shellfish, queen scallops, live among oysters where they find refuge inside empty shells. Queen scallops are refined in an unsinkable basin however these would be purified before they are commercialized.
